This is great news, isn’t it? You can’t imagine how happy JACK’s team is today as Tommy can now play and climb trees without bandages!!!
Yes, Tommy’s arm is now doing a lot better and Vet Jean-Claude decided a few days ago that bandages were no longer needed…
Tommy immediately understood the situation and rolled and rolled all over the place. He was happy and you could see this on hs face. Also, seeing Tommy behaving like this, even Nalia started rolling around too…[kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/KNaDKXqgyBA" width="425" height="350" wmode="transparent" /]
Baby Ekolo apparently didn’t catch what was going on… Since his arrival he’s been with Tommy and he has always known Tommy with a blue thing around the right arm. Ekolo was very curious when he saw Tommy for the first time without bandage and even came close to sniff and lick Tommy’s arm….
Now, we cross our fingers his arm will continue to be well as it is not because the wounds are clean that the bone is completely healed. Tommy will still be having antibiotics for the coming weeks and an XRay is scheduled early next month.
I’ll keep you posted as this weekend will be introduction time. Yes, the 3 of them will meet the infants and this will be another step forward for these little 3 hairy ones….
Before I end, I wish once again to thank our JACK vet Jean-Claude and his vet assistant Francis for their hard work as well as vets Carmen Vidal and Carole Marin for their kind help and precious advice.
Thank You,
Roxane/J.A.C.K.
