Dear All
No recent updates were possible because of bad power and because our old lap top decided to stop working…
Any way, today, it’s been a year baby Ekolo arrived at J.A.C.K. and he has now find his place among the infant chimpanzees of our nursery group.
Remember, Ekolo was rescued by the team of Lola ya Bonobo and he was sent to us by the bonobo sanctuary and its sponsors.
He is still the youngest of the group and older male Tika has become his friend, big brother and protector!
The other chimpanzees have accepted the little one very fast and it is more than obvious baby Ekolo is now a member of their family.
Keep in mind that all the chimpanzees residing at J.A.C.K. result from the bushmeat trade, that their groups and family were slaughtered and that at J.A.C.K. we try to give these orphans a second chance, a new life in chimpanzee groups with the aim and hope to put these creatures back to the forests they belong!
Thank You!
Roxane
c’est merveilleux de voir l’intégration des petits nouveaux et Tika joue le rôle de
« soigneur » !!!
Qu’en est -il pour les deux petites
dernières ? (les femelles doivent être
plus facilement acceptées non ?)
